– Chancellor Cantor speaks to the mission and vision of the Syracuse University Intergroup Dialogue Program. Recent speeches and writings by Nancy Cantor, Chancellor and President of Syracuse University, addressing issues of diversity and the practice and importance of intergroup dialogue are available at the Chancellor’s website.
– CARE is a six-week
intergroup dialogue program based in residence halls. This co-curricular
offering represents collaboration among the Intergroup Dialogue Program,
Office of Multicultural Affairs, Office of Residence Life, and Syracuse’s
Community Wide Dialogue to End Racism. Small groups of students share
personal experiences focusing on race and ethnicity. Selected readings and
activities enhance students’ understanding of these issues in broader society. You may apply to CARE using their online application.

– The intergroup dialogue program partners with local
high school teachers to offer an annual one-day institute, on SU’s campus,
that engages high school students studying race and culture in American
society in cross-school and community-university dialogue.
